Hugs Across America
In this often troubled and troubling world, it is our mission to bring comfort to children in crisis through the hugs of teddy bears and messages of loving care.
Help Us Help Them
In our continued response to the needs of children, Hugs Across America Inc., has provided over 410,000 teddy bears to victims in traumatic circumstances. We are responding to:
•house fires
•police emergencies
•medical emergencies
•parental deployment to war zones
•domestic violence
•natural disasters
•terrorism
through first responsee agencies that work directly with children in crisis.
These may include:
•American Red Cross
•The Salvation Army
•International Aid
•Woodmen of The World Disaster Team
•Fire Departments
•Police Departments
•Court Systems
•Hospital Emergency Rooms
•Pediatric Wards
•The Coalition Against Domestic Violence
•Funeral Homes
•Grief Counseling Centers
•United States Military
•The Gift of Life Intl. Inc.
•Shelters
Two groups have been formed and named for Kelsey. One is in Oklahoma and the other is in Wisconsin.
